About Loretta Lomanto
Colombian-born artist Loretta Lomanto has a BA in Philosophy from Universidad de Antioquia, a BFA degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin as well as an MFA from Parsons The New School, New York. Her work has been featured in South America and the US in many group exhibitions including BRIC, Soho20, BHQF: The Last Brucennial,The Untitled Gallery, as well as benefit exhibitions at AIR Gallery and Arts@Renaissance. Special installations of her work have been curated at the Governors Island Art Fair and cloyingParlor: Her History Dilemma. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
